True Patriots!
I was so proud of my family the day that our town honored a fallen soldier. They stood with their flags held high on the roadside. And there stands my brother, fourth from the left with a big smile on his face. I am so proud of him. He is an achiever, a believer (in Christ), and a concerned citizen. That's just the beginning of the ABC's of Deric Tate. I could go on and on. I am not only proud of him for possessing these characteristics, but also because he is running for Mayor of our great town. Today I was honored to be a part (by taking pictures and providing water) of putting up his first big sign and boy was it HOT and a lot of HARD WORK!

He's gonna be the best Mayor of Minden EVER!!!! I wonder how many other candidates are able and willing to put up their own big signs. We even had a few honks and thumbs ups to show their support. Go Brother!
If I lived in Minden I would definitely vote for Deric! It's not too often that you find a political candidate with strong moral values. He & the election are in my prayers.
