You see that little backstroker right there. That is a pool record setter!!!! We didn't know that Lily set a pool record for backstroke until the award banquet on July 5th. The reason for that is that another little girl beat Lily's record just minutes later in another heat. So she beat it but not for very long.
Miss Emily was nice enough to recognize Lily anyway. We were so surprised and SSSSOOOOO PROUD!!!
And here is THE SISTER of the YEAR! She has sat through two seasons of swim team and has been the best behaved most supportive sister there could possibly be. SO proud of her too!!!!

So I promised Lily she could get her hair "For Real" cut before we went to Miss Louisiana to be a Fleur de Lis Princess and here we are with Mrs. Lindsey!
LOOK HOW GROWN UP!!!! Oh, I was so pleased. It is so much easier to fix too! Great job Mrs. L.
So off we went to pageant week feeling pretty fancy!!!
