The Artist Edition!

As a donation to our annual St. Jude Auction, I contributed an art party.  On the right, is the winner of the party.  So we painted butterflies for her birthday!  Too cute, huh?  We painted bubble wrap and printed it on the canvas for the background.  Then painted the butterflies on top.

In one of my earlier art classes, my students painted George Rodrigue's Blue Dog.  Scott had a business trip to take during our Spring Break, so we went with him.  He found the Blue Dog Cafe for us to eat lunch!  It was the coolest place!  The food was GREAT too!

Behind Sophie you see Patriotic Blue Dog.

Behind Lily you see Business Blue Dog!

The Blues Brothers are behind Scott's head and my favorite is behind bald guy's head.

Blue Dog is Everywhere!

We love you, Blue Dog!!!

A Family Wedding!

My sweet Uncle Allen got married a week and a half ago, to one of the nicest ladies I have ever worked with in my life!  We are so happy for them.  There is a little story behind the picture below.  If you look real close, my mom is making a funny face.  She is the one in the black and white jacket and brown hair.    During the ceremony Bro. Leland made the statement that God put these two together, but that someone in this room might take credit for it.  That would be my mom.  She introduced Carolyn to my uncle.  What a match!!!!

So mom and dad got to be there witnesses.  What an honor!

Here is our BIG ol family, and that isn't ALL of us!

Here is Derder at the kiddie table, with Sophie and Jakers.

Always gotta snag a pic when we're dressed up!

Lily loves to visit with her boy cousins!

This is one of my favorite pics.  I was honored to be asked to take the wedding pictures.  This shows the couple's true happiness from the day.

My mom is just beeming and so is Uncle Allen!

Look at that sweet couple.  It turned out to be a BEAUTIFUL day!

And look at these beauties with their daddy!  Had to catch this one too!!!!

Hodge Podge Post

Had to put this little attitude pic from fishing the other day.  Couldn't get it to download before.  That's her "I got a fish" dance!

Mrs. Jessica asked on her blog: littlepumpkingrace.blogspot.com, what makes you smile ear to ear? the other day.  This is another thing that makes me smile ear to ear.  I love to see them sitting together and Lily reading to her little sister.  Makes my heart warm and fuzzy.

Here is NeNe and Lily on their way to a Youth Missions fair.  NeNe loves to be involved in her babies lives!!!!

This makes me smile too!  Sophie can always find something to do with a Happy Meal Box!

Here is Derder showing Lily how to 2 step!  The girls love their DERDER!!!!

DRIVING????

Yes, Lily has decided it's time she start driving the golf cart at Nanny and Poppy's.

So we all hopped in and went for a spin.

See daddy's white knuckles holding on to the roof!

Apparently she is a smooth enough driver for Sophie to relax and drink a coke on the ride.
Growing up way too fast and I am soaking in every SECOND!

Princesses and Pancakes!

After the Pancake Breakfast, we went to get our friend Rebecca for a play date.
The first thing they did was get dressed up!
Then they went to get the turtles!
Here are the sweeties at Daddy's Pancake Breakfast that morning!
The men hard at work, while the ladies wait to be served.
This is an annual tradition in March.

Winter Jamm 2011

We took Lily to her first Christian Concert a couple of weeks ago.  As I am typing this, I am thinking.... are we bad parents?  She has now been to 3 concerts and her first two were Hannah Montana and American Idol.  Anyway,  She really loved it.
Look at all the people, it was PACKED OUT!
Lily waving her ipod touch in the air for light.
Momma had to get a pic of Jason Castro, one of my Idol favorites.
Francesca Batestelli is who Lily came to see and she loved her.  She got one of her t-shirts as a souvenier from her night out with Mommy and Daddy!
