Second Stop Rainbows at the Golden Arches.

We went to McDonalds for our next stop.  I put out 3 different kinds of rainbow toppings for their ice cream.  They had fun making their rainbow snacks!

My mom went ahead of us to decorate the tables and order ice cream so it would be ready when we got there.  What would I do without Nene!!!

Yummy Gummies!!!!

My friend Carla is ALWAYS there for me even at all the parties!!!

Rainbow trix was one of the fave toppings.

Waiting to go to the last stop on the birthday treasure hunt!!!

Copycat Tablescape and Sophie's Bday Part 3

I have been struggling to figure out what I wanted for our kitchen table centerpiece.  The pleated poppy has her mantel decorated very similarly.  I got a ton of inspiration from her so here it is.

Sophie didn't want a big fancy cake this year, she wanted a cookie cake with a rainbow and dora on it.  So here it is.

More umbrella decorating.

The dress she wore for her party was one that Nene brought back from Nicaragua.

The birthday girl makes a wish!

Next we are off to find a rainbow at the golden arches!!!

Decorating Umbrellas

One of Sophie's besties decorating her umbrella with swirlies.  I bought several packages of sharpies and ordered decorate your own umbrellas from Oriental Trading Co. for Sophie's birthday craft.  Yes we had sharpies on the carpet, but it was well worth the chance of a stain being in the cool.

Lily helps one of our guests with her umbrella.

Look at all the creativity.

The birthday girl enjoys decorating her umbrella.

Even the mommies had fun.

This was the first location of three for Sophie's party.  She wanted a Dora Party, so we had a hunt for rainbows.  We made our own rainbows on the umbrellas.  Stay tuned for the next post for more rainbows.
